NPR Three Minute Fiction Contest

All Things Considered’s contest has a simple premise: Listeners send in original short stories that can be read in three minutes or less. Round 7 Is Open! Submit stories by Sunday, September 25, 2011. For Round 7 of the writing contest, submissions must have a character come to town and someone leave town. Each piece of writing has to be read in less than three minutes, so no longer than 600 words. This round will be judged by author Danielle Evans. Go to NPR’s Three Minute Fiction to hear Ms. Evans talk about her approach to fiction and how she will judge the story. Must be 18 or over to enter.
