Bennington Young Writers Competition

Students in the 10th, 11th, and 12th grades during the current academic year are invited to submit one of the following: poetry (a group of three poems), fiction (a short story or one-act play), or nonfiction (a personal or academic essay). All entries must be original work and sponsored by a high school teacher. Please include the author’s name on each page. Entries not submitted online must be accompanied by a submission form and postmarked by November 1. Students may obtain submission forms either from their English teachers or under the “News” section of our website at www.bennington.edu.
