Poisson ’17 & Damodaran ’17 Win National Short Story Contest

Writers Conference Logo“Shadow Friends” by Gabrielle Poisson ’17 and “Carnival Games” by Kiran Damodaran ’17 won 1st and 2nd place respectively in the the Writers’ Slate annual writing contest sponsored by The Writing Conference, Inc. This year’s contest theme was “friendship.” Gabi and Kiran won in the “Narration” category. Their stories have been published in the Spring 2015 edition of the online magazine, Volume 30, Issue 3  (Poisson, p. 66; Damodaran p. 88). Congratulations Gabi and Kiran!
