Merrigan ’16 Wins NCTE Achievement Award for Writing

Elizabeth Merrigan ’16 won the 2015 National Council of Teachers of English Achievement Award for Superior Writing for her personal essay, “The Art of Losing,” and a portfolio of other creative work. She is one of 141 winners selected from juniors across the nation. An excerpt of her essay will be published in the NA alumni magazine, Outreach this spring. Congratulations, Liz!
