Honorable Mention distinction, which shows tremendous creative promise and places the student in the top 20% of the Northwest US region, was awarded to: Ben Goodman (Science Fiction), Brendan James (Photography), Nicole Jones (Poetry), Harry McCarthy (Flash Fiction), Aly McPherson (Personal Essay & Flash Fiction), Gabi Poisson (Poetry), Lyle Poisson (Flash Fiction), Abe Ratner (Personal Essay, Humor & Poetry), Zoe Rollenhagen (Personal Essay), Truman Ruberti (Short Story), Elizabeth Vogel (Personal Essay & Flash Fiction) and Remenna Xu (Poetry).
The Silver Key Award, which indicates high honors on the regional level and places students in the top 15% of their region, was earned by Flannery James (Flash Fiction, Short Story & Personal Essay), Nicole Jones (Short Story & Writing Portfolio), Olimpia Kane (Short Story), Claudia Lu (Personal Essay), Alicja Madloch (Poetry), Harry McCarthy (Poetry), Aly McPherson (Fantasy, Dramatic Script & Writing Portfolio), Katie Steffens (Poetry), Remenna Xu (Flash Fiction, Personal Essay & Short Story) and Elizabeth Vogel (Writing Portfolio & Flash Fiction).
The Gold Key Award, which is the highest level of achievement on the regional level and places students in the top 10% of their region, was earned by Emma Hoffman (Short Story), Brendan James (Film & Animation), Flannery James (Poetry), Daniel Kwiatkowski (Personal Essay), Aly McPherson (Flash Fiction, Short Story, Dramatic Script & two Gold Keys in Poetry), Elizabeth Vogel (Poetry), Remenna Xu (Short Story & Dramatic Script).
