Bill Blaskopf is a retired Newark Academy math teacher (and active substitute teacher) who taught at NA for 40 years. He wrote this poem while touring in Israel in March on a day when his travel group had a lot of time on a bus. Pat Reigler is a friend of his who was also on the trip. Ode to Pat Reigler’s Hat
Can you believe that
There is no fat cat
On the hat
Of Pat?
Imagine that!
I once saw the cat
Fall off the hat
Of Pat.
Splat!
Pat’s cat
Once sat
On a mat
Playing with a rat
Scat, rat, scat.
