This piece won first place at the THEATER PROJECT‘s seventeenth annual Young Playwrights Competition Performance and was honored at an awards ceremony on March 9 at the Cranford Community Center. Kianni saw her work performed by 
professional actors of The Theater Project. The event was free and open to the public and was proudly supported by grants from New Jersey State Council on the Arts, Investors Foundation, and the New Jersey Theatre Alliance.
This is Kianni’s second time placing in this contest; last year she came in third place with her play “Smile,” which also won the Writers Theatre of NJ Young Playwrights Competition.
